..Y'know, nothing against guests who behave properly, but who thought it was a good idea to enable guest posting anyway?

This is just inviting spam. (Not you, RedAlert95isepic.. just had a bad experience on an old forum of mine.)

reCAPTCHA is usually pretty good at stopping spam, which is why guest posting is currently enabled.

Well if this is a dead-end route, why not pick up FreeRA and run with it? I'm sure you could make some pretty vast improvements to it, and it hasn't been touched in quite some time.

Why? Well, probably because he's mostly a hacker and not so much a programmer...

Hypers got a lot on his plate ATM, concidering he is working on am patch for Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Sole Survivor and Dune 2000.
And then of course there is the rest of his life, the lack of progress will be because he is bussy not because he has given up.

I might be a hacker, but dam, FreeCNC/RA is so messy, i mean, why dont people actualy dissemble the games before the try to rewrite the dam things >_>

I would have more success copying the ASM to .cpp and .h files, fixing up pointers and recompiling it. But it wont happen.

Gasp, bribery, but no really Hyper, try to work it out, even if it delays you for some time. Red Alert is a game worth a patch of its very own.

Im not a charity case like Nyerguds xD

I have been working on RA, but for the life of me i can not find what is blocking the view and why the mouse goes crazy. My current hack is best for vertical monitors!

Hotfix request:

Would it be quick/easy to include wsock32.dll, ra95.dat and ra95.lcf in ra95.exe ?

Btw would wsock32.dll work for other IPX games as well?

If it IS the exe, why there is .dat file then?
I know the code is in there but cant they be in one file?

How about other .dll like thipx can they be included in the exe too?
